Louisville, KY – February kicks off with a cool and cloudy weekend across Kentucky, but a warming trend is on the way. Saturday brings highs in the upper 40s, with lingering clouds clearing in the afternoon. Overnight lows will drop into the mid-30s before a gradual warm-up begins Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will be mostly cloudy with highs reaching the upper 50s. Winds from the southwest could gust up to 21 mph, bringing slightly milder air into the region. Overnight temperatures will hold steady in the mid-40s.

Looking ahead, Monday and Tuesday will see highs climb into the low 60s, with mostly sunny conditions. By Wednesday, temperatures may reach the upper 60s, but rain chances increase, with showers and possible thunderstorms.

Drivers should remain cautious, especially early next week when rain could impact commutes. The first week of February will bring a taste of spring, but cooler weather may return later in the month. Stay updated with the latest forecast to plan accordingly.
