According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, dry and warm weather will persist through midweek, with low afternoon humidity and light winds. Highs will range from the upper 50s to mid-70s, with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s.
By Friday evening through Saturday night, rain will move into the area, with expected rainfall totals ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 inches across western Kentucky, southern Illinois, southeast Missouri, and northwest Tennessee. The heaviest rain is forecast in eastern portions of the region.
