Paducah, Kentucky – Temperatures in western Kentucky will climb toward the upper 80s by midweek, with a rise in humidity and a chance for daily showers beginning Wednesday. Although today’s forecast holds a few isolated thunderstorms, mainly dry conditions are expected to continue until then.
According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, highs will range between 77°F and 85°F today, with lows dipping to the mid-50s to low 60s overnight. By Monday, temperatures will reach the low 80s, with a warming trend continuing into Tuesday, when highs could approach 89°F. The weather service notes that while isolated thunderstorms are possible this afternoon, any storms could produce gusty winds and small hail.
As the week progresses, daily rain chances will return, with more widespread chances for rain expected by Wednesday. By then, high temperatures are expected to hover around 83°F to 89°F, bringing the first real taste of summer to the region.
Residents are advised to stay weather-aware, particularly if traveling during the afternoon and evening hours when storms may develop.
