Paducah, KY – Paducah residents should be on alert for patchy fog early Sunday morning before temperatures soar into the high 80s. The fog is expected between 3 and 4 a.m., particularly near local highways, making visibility low for drivers on I-24 and US-60.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will rise to 88 degrees by midday Sunday, with calm winds becoming a gentle breeze by the afternoon. The fog should dissipate quickly, but early morning travelers are advised to use extra caution and keep headlights on low beam.

Monday will see a welcome drop in temperatures, with a high of 72 degrees and sunny skies. Winds will remain light, but evening lows could dip to 46 degrees, making Monday night cooler and more comfortable for outdoor activities. As the week progresses, Paducah will continue to experience dry, sunny weather, with highs in the mid-70s.

Drivers should remain cautious in the early morning hours, especially in fog-prone areas, and those with respiratory conditions should limit outdoor activities during peak heat hours on Sunday.
