Louisville, KY – Patchy dense fog covered parts of Kentucky Tuesday morning, significantly reducing visibility along major highways like I-65. Drivers should exercise caution as visibility could drop below a quarter of a mile in some areas. A cold front is expected to move in by the afternoon, bringing scattered showers and a drop in temperatures.

According to the National Weather Service in Louisville, fog is likely to clear by mid-morning. However, the forecast warns that conditions will remain challenging until at least 10 a.m. Motorists are advised to slow down, use low-beam headlights, and allow extra time for travel. Later today, rain showers will begin after 3 p.m., with temperatures reaching a high near 78 degrees.

Tonight, skies will clear, with temperatures dipping to the low 50s. Wednesday promises sunny skies and cooler temperatures, with a high near 72 degrees. The rest of the week will see patchy morning fog followed by sunny afternoons, making for a clearer commute starting Thursday.
