According to the National Weather Service in Dodge City, light accumulating snow is forecast for far west-central Kansas beginning Tuesday morning. Expected totals range from ½ to 1 inch of snow, primarily west of Highway 83, with the heaviest accumulation along the Colorado border. Wind chills could plummet to as low as -10 degrees early Wednesday, posing a risk of frostbite for exposed skin within minutes.
