Kansas City, MO – Snowfall is making its way through Missouri today, with a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 2 p.m. Saturday. Drivers along the I-70 corridor should prepare for slippery roads, reduced visibility, and up to 2 inches of snow accumulation.

According to the National Weather Service, central Missouri may see up to 5 inches of snow in localized areas. The advisory covers portions of central and northern Missouri, including Kansas City and surrounding communities. Saturday’s high is expected to reach 34 degrees, with snow tapering off by late afternoon. Tonight will bring partly cloudy skies and a low near 20. Sunshine returns Sunday with a high of 33, but temperatures will drop again Sunday night, hitting 18 degrees.

The week ahead brings continued chilly weather but dry conditions. Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 31 degrees. A slight warming trend follows, with highs reaching 41 by Tuesday under clear skies.
