Kansas City, MO – Kansas City residents can expect warm and dry weather to kick off the week. Monday’s temperatures will rise to 84°F, continuing an unseasonably warm stretch. However, cooler conditions are on the way.

According to the National Weather Service, a cold front will push through the area on Tuesday, dropping the high to 71°F. By Wednesday, Kansas City will see a noticeable temperature dip, with highs only reaching 78°F.

The weather will warm back up Thursday, with a forecasted high of 85°F, before cooling down again slightly by Friday. The area should remain mostly dry throughout the week, with no precipitation expected. Winds will remain light, adding to the mild conditions.

Residents are advised to prepare for the changing temperatures, especially as the cold front moves in. Though temperatures will rise again late in the week, the city could experience cooler evenings and early mornings after Tuesday.

Kansas City’s warm start to the week is expected to give way to a more fall-like feel as the cold front settles in.
