JONESBOROUGH, TN – A Limestone man has been arrested following a shots-fired incident Sunday evening in Washington County, authorities said.
According to Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies arrested Masen Ivis Earley, 22, on Oct. 28 and charged him with reckless endangerment after responding to reports of gunfire on Green Lane.
Deputies were told a male, later identified as Earley, allegedly fired several rounds at a vehicle traveling through the 100 block of Green Lane. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the victim and later located Earley at a nearby residence.
Investigators said Earley complied with orders and admitted to discharging a weapon. Deputies recovered 11 spent shell casings from his porch and located a handgun with one remaining round inside. Ballistics reportedly matched the casings found at the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Earley was booked into the Washington County Detention Center, where his bond was set at $15,000. He has since made bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 29.
