Quad Cities, IA-IL – Spring sunshine returns to the Quad Cities Friday as dry air moves in, giving eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois a much-needed break before clouds and possible showers return Saturday night.

According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, Thursday’s patchy fog and isolated showers will clear, setting up sunny conditions for Friday, April 11. Highs will reach 57°F with light northeast winds. No hazardous weather is expected through Friday night, though residents are advised to monitor the weekend outlook, especially if traveling Saturday night.

Friday night will be mostly clear with a low around 38°F. Winds will calm overnight, helping keep conditions stable for outdoor activities or travel.
