Davenport, IA – A brief shot of Monday morning drizzle won’t last long in the Quad Cities, as sunny skies and spring warmth take hold for the rest of the week, with highs steadily climbing into the upper 70s by the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, a slight 20% chance of rain lingers between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday, but skies will begin to clear into the afternoon with a high near 64°F. Winds will remain light out of the northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday marks the start of a beautiful stretch, with sunshine and a high near 74°F, followed by consistent warmth and mostly sunny skies through the end of the week. Conditions are ideal for commuters, outdoor plans, and local travel along I-74, I-80, and I-280.
