Indianapolis, Indiana – Sunshine and mild temperatures are setting the stage for an ideal weekend across Indiana, with highs hovering near 70°F through Monday and little to no rain in sight.

According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, most of central Indiana will remain dry, though there’s a slight chance of showers late Sunday into early next week for the southwest corner of the state. Daytime highs will range from the mid-60s to low 70s, with nighttime lows dipping into the upper 40s and low 50s.

In Indianapolis and surrounding counties like Marion, Hendricks, and Hamilton, expect clear skies and warm afternoons perfect for outdoor events, yard work, or enjoying local parks. Saturday and Monday are expected to reach a pleasant 70°F, while Sunday holds slightly cooler temps around 67°F.

Residents in Bloomington and Terre Haute should also prepare for chilly mornings, especially Saturday, when lows may fall into the mid-40s. While roads and travel aren’t expected to be affected, early risers should dress in layers for morning commutes or outdoor activities.

This stretch of calm weather is a welcome break for Hoosiers after a wet spring. Low rain chances return early next week, but most areas will remain dry. Stay tuned to local updates as conditions evolve.
