Indianapolis, Indiana – Showers are expected to taper off over eastern Indiana counties by mid-morning Monday, but drivers should remain cautious as gusty westerly winds up to 30 mph continue through the early afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, skies will gradually clear across the state later today, with temperatures reaching a high near 68°F. Breezy conditions will persist before calmer weather settles in Monday evening, with overnight lows dipping to around 48°F.

Tuesday brings a shift to more pleasant late-spring weather across the state, with highs climbing into the low 70s under mostly sunny skies. Light southerly winds will accompany the sunshine, continuing into Wednesday, which is expected to be the warmest day of the week with a high near 78°F in central Indiana.

Residents can expect dry conditions and ideal outdoor weather through midweek. However, those with early morning or late-night plans should dress in layers as overnight temperatures remain cool, ranging from the upper 40s to low 50s.

No weather advisories are currently in effect, but updates will continue as the next potential rain system approaches later this week.
