Orange County, IN – The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in Orange County during the early morning hours of March 15, 2025. The tornado, which began near West Baden Springs, traveled 11 miles before dissipating near Orleans.

According to the NWS Louisville, the tornado occurred between 4:45 and 4:53 a.m. EDT, with estimated peak winds of 110 mph. The tornado had a maximum width of 50 yards but caused no reported injuries or fatalities.
