Southeast Indiana – Residents of Southeast Indiana are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 7 PM Tuesday. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued the alert, warning of strong storms capable of producing damaging winds, hail, and possibly tornadoes.
According to the NWS, storms are expected to bring scattered wind gusts reaching up to 70 mph and hail as large as 1.5 inches. There is also a chance for a tornado or two in the affected areas, which include a 60-mile-wide stretch east and west of a line from Cincinnati to Nashville.
