Scattered thunderstorms will develop Wednesday morning, with a second round in the afternoon and evening that could bring damaging winds and hail. Winds will be a major concern, with southerly gusts reaching up to 40 mph in the afternoon before shifting northwest with gusts up to 45 mph overnight.
NWS warns that rain will change to wet snow Wednesday night, with minor accumulations possible on grassy and elevated surfaces. Slippery travel conditions are expected for Thursday morning.
