
Chicago, IL – After a cool start to the weekend, Illinois will see a spring warm-up on Sunday before temperatures dip again midweek.
According to the National Weather Service, Sunday’s high will reach around 55°F in Chicago, with plenty of sunshine and a light southwest breeze. By Monday, temperatures will climb even higher, peaking near 63°F. However, a shift in the weather pattern will bring cooler conditions starting Tuesday, with highs dropping back to the upper 40s.
Winds will be breezy at times, with gusts up to 20 mph on Sunday and Monday. Nights will remain chilly, with lows in the 30s and 40s. By midweek, cloud cover will increase, and a slight chance of rain showers could develop late Tuesday into Wednesday.
