Pocatello, ID – An extreme cold warning has been issued for the Arco/Mud Lake Desert and Upper Snake River Plain, including cities such as Rexburg, Idaho Falls, and St. Anthony. The warning is in effect from midnight Saturday to 10 a.m. MST Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service in Pocatello, wind chills could plummet as low as -25°F. These dangerously low temperatures can cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
