Idaho Air Quality Advisory Issued for Lemhi County

Salmon, ID – The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Lemhi County due to wildfire smoke, effective until 3 p.m. Tuesday. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is forecast to be unhealthy, meaning sensitive groups, such as the elderly, children, and those with respiratory conditions, are at greater risk of experiencing health effects.

Residents are urged to limit prolonged outdoor activities. Open burning is prohibited during this advisory.
