Green Bay, Wis. – Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across Green Bay Monday, kicking off a week of unsettled weather with brief dry breaks in between.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, Monday’s rain could begin early with thunder possible by the afternoon. No severe storms are forecast, but brief downpours or small hail could accompany stronger cells. Tuesday offers a break, with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs nearing 78°F.

The storm threat returns Wednesday through Friday as a frontal boundary lingers near the state. This boundary will determine which areas see repeated rounds of rain or thunder, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will range from the mid-60s to mid-70s during this stretch.

Counties across central and northeast Wisconsin, including Brown, Outagamie, and Shawano, could experience on-and-off showers through late week. Commuters should plan for wet roads, especially during peak travel hours. Lightning delays may also impact outdoor events and youth sports in the region.

While severe storms remain unlikely, residents are advised to monitor conditions and avoid flooded roads. Keep mobile devices charged and stay updated via NOAA Weather Radio or NWS Green Bay social media channels.

Additional alerts may be issued if storm chances increase later this week.
