Green Bay, WI — Drivers across Green Bay and surrounding areas experienced reduced visibility and slick conditions early Friday due to patchy ground fog.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, the fog developed before sunrise and may linger through mid-morning, especially in low-lying and rural areas. Visibility reductions below a quarter-mile were reported, with temperatures in the upper 40s to mid-50s. Motorists are urged to drive with caution, use headlights, and allow extra travel time.

Dry and warmer weather is expected to continue through Saturday, with highs ranging from 52°F to 62°F across northeast Wisconsin. Skies will remain partly cloudy with increasing clouds by late Saturday.

Sunday brings a higher chance of scattered afternoon thunderstorms across the Green Bay region, particularly in inland counties. Rain showers may begin after 2 p.m., with overnight lows dipping into the 40s.

By Monday, a more dynamic system is expected to move in, bringing a mix of rain and snow late in the day, especially in northern and central Wisconsin. Commuters should monitor local forecasts for updates and prepare for possible slick roads and reduced traction.
