Warner Robins, GA – A pair of weak but notable EF0 tornadoes touched down Monday afternoon across central Georgia, impacting Peach, Houston, and Bibb counties with peak winds of 75 mph.

According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, both tornadoes were confirmed through preliminary damage surveys and occurred minutes apart. The first tornado formed at 2:11 p.m. and lasted until 2:20 p.m., while the second touched down shortly after at 2:13 p.m., dissipating by 2:19 p.m.

The NWS reported each tornado had a maximum width of 100 yards. The first tracked 7.05 miles, with the second covering 3.59 miles. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and damage was classified as consistent with EF0 intensity, the lowest on the Enhanced Fujita scale.

These “sister” tornadoes followed a narrow path near Warner Robins, creating localized debris but sparing the region from more severe destruction. The last time multiple tornadoes struck this area on the same day dates back several years, making Monday’s activity notable despite the low intensity.

Residents are encouraged to review severe weather preparedness plans, as spring marks an active tornado season for Georgia. Stay tuned to local emergency alerts and the National Weather Service for future updates.
