Peachtree City, GA – Dry and sunny weather will persist through Thursday, but residents should prepare for rain starting Friday night. The National Weather Service predicts an 80% chance of showers overnight Friday, continuing into Saturday, with heavy rainfall likely affecting travel along I-85 and surrounding areas.

According to the National Weather Service Peachtree City, calm conditions will hold steady midweek, with highs near 50°F and lows dipping into the upper 20s. Thursday will bring sunshine with a high of 52°F. However, weather patterns shift Friday evening, with rain expected after 1 a.m. and a low around 42°F. Saturday will see periods of steady rain, with highs reaching 57°F and localized flooding possible in low-lying areas.

Motorists should monitor conditions closely, as wet roads may create hazardous driving conditions late Friday into Saturday morning. Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor items, as winds could gust up to 20 mph before the rain.

Sunday and Monday will bring cooler temperatures, with highs in the low 50s on Sunday and upper 30s by Monday. A slight chance of showers lingers into early next week as an arctic air mass moves into the region.
