A wind advisory has been issued for Garrett County, Maryland, as well as Eastern and Western Highland Counties in Virginia.
According to the National Weather Service, west winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected from midnight Monday through noon Tuesday. The strong winds could result in fallen tree limbs, unsecured objects being blown around, and potential power outages.
