Buffalo, NY – A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for parts of western and north-central New York, with frost expected overnight. Areas inland from Lake Erie and Lake Ontario may experience frost tonight through Friday morning, as temperatures dip into the lower 30s.
The National Weather Service reports that regions including Niagara, Erie, and Monroe counties are likely to see frost. Residents should take precautions to protect outdoor plants that may be sensitive to the cold.
Frost is also possible Friday night into Saturday morning for the same areas. As temperatures fall, residents are encouraged to cover plants or bring them indoors to prevent damage.
