Tallahassee, FL – The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for portions of southeast Alabama, Big Bend Florida, and southwest Georgia, effective from 2 a.m. EST (1 a.m. CST) to 8 a.m. EST (7 a.m. CST) Sunday.

Temperatures in the affected areas are expected to drop as low as 35 degrees, leading to frost formation. This poses a risk to sensitive outdoor vegetation, which could be damaged or killed if left unprotected.

The advisory covers a wide range of cities, including Dothan and Enterprise in Alabama, Perry and Madison in Florida, and Albany and Blakely in Georgia. Residents are urged to take precautions such as covering or bringing in vulnerable plants.

According to the National Weather Service, frost conditions are most likely during the early morning hours on Sunday before temperatures rise later in the day.
