Goodland, KS – The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory in effect until 9 a.m. CDT Friday and a Freeze Warning for Decatur County, Kansas, and Red Willow County, Nebraska, from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. CDT Saturday. Temperatures could drop as low as 27°F, posing risks to crops, sensitive vegetation, and outdoor plumbing systems.
Residents are advised to drain sprinkler systems, cover exposed pipes, and protect plants. Additional areas under a Freeze Warning include Norton and Sheridan counties in Kansas. Protective measures against frost and freezing temperatures are recommended to prevent potential damage.
