Levy County, FL – A Freeze Warning and Cold Weather Advisory remain in effect for inland Levy County from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Friday, with subfreezing temperatures as low as 21°F.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Tampa Bay, the coldest temperatures will impact Bronson, Chiefland, and Williston. Officials warn that crops and outdoor plumbing could be at risk.
Residents should cover plants, insulate pipes, and bring pets indoors.
Although temperatures will rebound Friday afternoon, another round of cold weather is possible early next week.
