Shreveport, LA — The Four-State region, including parts of Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi, is grappling with extended drought conditions, with record-breaking dry spells at several weather stations. Shreveport and other cities like Monroe and Tyler are now approaching historic numbers of consecutive days without measurable rainfall.

According to the National Weather Service, Shreveport has seen 25 straight dry days since late September, and Monroe, starting in early October, is also experiencing similar conditions. With temperatures reaching the mid-80s throughout the week and no significant rainfall expected, this dry spell may persist, further challenging local communities already coping with drought concerns.
