Fort Wayne, IN – The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana is warning of fog development overnight into early Tuesday, with the greatest potential for dense fog east of Interstate 69.

Low temperatures will fall into the upper 40s to low 50s tonight, with calm winds allowing fog to thicken near sunrise. Reduced visibility may affect morning commuters, particularly around Auburn, Van Wert, Defiance, and Fort Wayne. Drivers are advised to slow down and use low-beam headlights in fog-prone areas.

Tuesday will bring another dry and mild day, with highs reaching 72–77°F across northern Indiana. Skies will be mostly sunny by afternoon, offering a brief continuation of the region’s stretch of pleasant fall weather.

A cooler pattern is expected to arrive by Wednesday, with highs dipping into the low to mid-60s as a weak cold front moves through.
