TAMPA, FL – Residents in Tampa can expect warm and sunny weather this week, but a tropical disturbance in the Caribbean could bring changes. Forecasters note a 30% chance of tropical development over the next seven days, posing a potential risk for the Florida area later in the week.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 85 degrees and calm winds. Temperatures tonight will drop to 67, with mostly cloudy skies prevailing. This warm, stable pattern is expected to continue through Thursday, with daily highs ranging between 84 and 87 degrees and lows hovering around 67 to 70 degrees.

While Tampa’s weather remains pleasant, the National Hurricane Center warns that a broad area of low pressure could strengthen in the western Caribbean. Local residents are advised to monitor updates and prepare for possible shifts in the forecast. By midweek, the disturbance may bring increased rain chances or winds to parts of Florida, depending on its path and intensity.

For the week ahead, expect sunny skies Tuesday through Thursday, with occasional gusts up to 23 mph. Friday and Saturday will bring similar conditions, with highs nearing 87. As always, residents should stay informed through the National Weather Service or trusted local news sources, especially with a tropical system potentially developing nearby.
