Tallahassee, FL – A wet start to the week is in store for Tallahassee as rain moves in early Monday, with clearing skies expected by the afternoon. Temperatures will remain mild, but residents should prepare for slick roads during the morning commute.

According to the National Weather Service, a 50% chance of rain is expected before 1 p.m. on Monday, with highs reaching 63°F. Northeast winds will be light at around 5 mph. By Monday night, conditions will improve with partly cloudy skies and lows near 47°F.

The weather takes a sunnier turn on Tuesday, with clear skies and a high of 73°F. Nighttime temperatures will drop to a crisp 47°F. Wednesday brings even warmer conditions, with a high near 76°F and abundant sunshine.

Looking ahead to Thursday, a slight chance of afternoon rain returns, though temperatures will stay in the mid-70s. By Friday, another sunny day is forecast, with highs reaching 76°F and overnight lows dipping to 44°F.

Drivers should be cautious during Monday’s wet conditions, especially on major roadways like Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 90, where slick spots may develop. Travelers should allow extra time for commutes.
