Tallahassee, FL – Residents in Tallahassee should prepare for rain and a noticeable drop in temperatures this week as an arctic front moves out. The shift will bring showers on Wednesday, followed by cooler, drier conditions heading into the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is likely Wednesday, with a high of 57°F and a northeast wind at 5 to 10 mph. Precipitation chances are at 90%, with new rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch. By Wednesday night, skies will remain mostly cloudy, and temperatures will drop to 39°F.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 51°F, followed by clear conditions Thursday night and a low of 29°F. Friday remains sunny but cool, with a high near 53°F and a low of 35°F at night.

A warming trend begins Saturday, with a high of 60°F under partly sunny skies. Sunday continues the warm-up, reaching 63°F with a slight chance of showers.
