Miami, FL – South Florida residents will enjoy sunny skies and reduced humidity today, but a Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 1 p.m. Sunday. With tides running higher than normal, areas along U.S. 1 and other low-lying roads near Miami could experience minor flooding, particularly during high tide.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), temperatures will climb to the upper 70s and low 80s today, with mostly sunny skies and northeast winds gusting up to 20 mph. Tonight, partly cloudy skies and lows near 73 degrees will provide a pleasant evening.

Sunday’s forecast continues the sunny trend, with highs reaching 79 degrees. Winds from the east will remain steady at 11 to 13 mph. Looking ahead to next week, Monday and Tuesday will see consistent highs near 80 degrees under mostly sunny skies, while nighttime lows hover in the mid-70s.

By midweek, rain chances increase slightly, with a 30% chance of showers beginning Wednesday afternoon and continuing overnight. Thursday will clear up again, bringing highs near 76 and breezy conditions.

Residents are advised to monitor tide schedules, especially those in flood-prone areas. Avoid parking or walking through standing water, and consider alternative routes if traveling through areas with expected tidal impacts.
