Affected counties include Orange, Seminole, Volusia, and northern Brevard. Isolated thunderstorms are possible farther south, including around Melbourne and Vero Beach.
Winds may gust between 45 and 55 mph, with a small chance (up to 5%) of isolated wind gusts exceeding 60 mph. The storms will also bring frequent lightning and heavy downpours, potentially leading to minor flooding in low-lying areas or roads with poor drainage. The tornado risk remains very low, though coastal areas could see brief rotation.
Drivers along I-4 and U.S. Route 1 should use caution, especially around Sanford and Titusville during the peak storm window. Residents are advised to stay indoors during lightning and secure any loose outdoor items.
