Tallahassee, FL – The Florida Panhandle will experience high temperatures nearing 90°F this weekend, with limited chances of rain. Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions during peak heat hours as the dry weather continues.

According to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, Saturday’s forecast shows highs of 88°F, with Sunday and Monday pushing closer to 90°F. The low chance of rain, only 5% over the weekend, will provide little relief. Monday may see a slight increase in rain chances, rising to 10%, with a further increase expected by mid-week as rain chances hit 25% on Wednesday.

Forecasters are also closely monitoring a broad area of low pressure in the northwest Caribbean, which has a 40% chance of developing into a tropical disturbance within the next seven days. While there’s no immediate threat to the Panhandle, the system could bring rain later in the week. Residents should stay updated on weather alerts and review emergency plans as conditions may evolve quickly.

Expect continued heat and dryness in the early part of the week, but stay vigilant as the tropical outlook may change rapidly. Keep an eye on updates through Tuesday for any shifts in the forecast.
