Miami, FL – Thick fog blankets South Florida this morning, reducing visibility and creating hazardous travel conditions on I-75 and other major roadways.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Miami, a Dense Fog Advisoryremains in effect for all of South Florida, except for the east coast metro areas. The fog is expected to persist through mid-morning, with visibility dropping below a quarter-mile in some locations. Drivers should use low beams and reduce speed, especially in interior regions and near Naples, Immokalee, and Everglades City.
Beyond today, South Florida will see mild and sunny weather throughout the week. Highs will range from 76°F to 80°F, with overnight lows in the low 70s. East winds will remain light, keeping conditions stable.
Looking ahead, another round of patchy morning fog is possible on Tuesday, mainly inland. Beachgoers should also be cautious of elevated rip current risks along Palm Beach shores through midweek.
