Miami, FL – Breezy showers are forecast to impact Miami and surrounding areas on Sunday, while a slight risk of thunderstorms is expected on Veterans Day. Residents are advised to prepare for gusty conditions, as east winds could reach up to 24 mph in the afternoon. Showers are expected to begin after 1 p.m., potentially disrupting outdoor plans across the region.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Miami, Sunday will see partly sunny skies with a 30% chance of showers in the afternoon. Winds will remain steady, and gusts could make road travel challenging, particularly for those commuting on Interstate 95 or U.S. Route 1. Showers may intensify into the evening, making travel slippery, especially on major roadways.

Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with continued gusts around 21 mph. Temperatures will be mild, with lows near 77°F. Looking ahead to Veterans Day, there’s a 20% chance of showers and possible thunderstorms before 10 p.m. Daytime temperatures will hover around 83°F, with scattered clouds and breezy southeast winds, gusting up to 18 mph.

By Tuesday, conditions should clear with mostly sunny skies and highs reaching 84°F, allowing for a more pleasant start to the week. However, expect another partly cloudy evening with temperatures in the high 70s.

Residents planning outdoor events on Veterans Day should monitor forecasts closely. Brief downpours and occasional thunderstorms could impact planned celebrations and ceremonies across Miami. Stay updated with the latest forecasts and consider postponing outdoor activities if thunderstorm warnings are issued.
