Flagstaff, AZ – Above-normal temperatures are expected across Flagstaff this week, bringing highs into the 80s by Tuesday. The unusually warm weather, along with dry conditions and light winds, will persist through the weekend. As temperatures rise, residents along major routes like I-40 and I-17 are advised to stay hydrated and limit outdoor activities during peak afternoon heat.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), temperatures will reach 78°F on Tuesday and climb to 80°F by midweek. Prescott and Payson will also experience highs of 85°F. The warmer conditions are expected to last through Saturday, with little relief overnight as lows remain in the upper 40s to 50s. Dry weather means fire danger could increase, especially in forested areas.
