Flagstaff, AZ – Residents are set to experience well above-average temperatures today, with isolated thunderstorms expected in the afternoon. Areas along higher terrain may face these storms, with light winds persisting throughout the day.

According to the US National Weather Service in Flagstaff, today’s highs are projected to reach 80°F in Flagstaff, while lower elevations, including Lake Havasu City and Phoenix, will see temperatures soar above 100°F. Flagstaff’s outlook indicates a low chance of rain, around 7%, mainly affecting the surrounding high terrain.

The National Weather Service has also warned of isolated thunderstorms later this afternoon. While rain is expected to be limited, those living in higher elevations should stay alert for brief storms.

Temperatures will remain warm throughout the week, peaking on Friday at 83°F before slightly cooling by Sunday. Residents should take precautions against heat, especially in areas without rain.
