Cheyenne, WY – Southeast Wyoming voters face cold temperatures, gusty winds, and possible snow as they head to the polls Tuesday. Morning temperatures are expected to hover in the 30s, with a gradual rise to the 50s in the afternoon. Wind gusts between 45 and 55 mph will sweep through southeast Wyoming, while western Nebraska will experience gusts up to 45 mph.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Cheyenne, these windy conditions could make outdoor activities challenging throughout the day. The strong gusts are expected to persist from morning through the evening.

The NWS also forecasts occasional light snow showers in the area, which could increase later in the evening as a cold front moves in. This front may bring additional precipitation and further drop temperatures, making it crucial for voters to dress warmly.

Despite the challenging conditions, Wyoming officials encourage residents to exercise their voting rights safely. Voters should monitor local weather updates and prepare accordingly for Wyoming’s blustery Election Day.
