East L.A., California – Drivers and early risers across East L.A. should prepare for low visibility Wednesday and Thursday mornings as patchy fog rolls back in. Daytime highs will climb near 80°F by midweek, signaling an early taste of summer.
According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, patchy fog will linger through 11 a.m. Wednesday before skies clear. Expect mostly sunny conditions and a high around 76°F, with light winds shifting throughout the day. On Thursday, highs near 80°F will follow another foggy start, with similar conditions through Friday.
The marine layer will continue to blanket the region, especially impacting I-5, I-10, and surface roads during morning commutes. Drivers should slow down, use low beams, and allow extra time between 5–11 a.m. each day.
Temperatures will rise steadily through Friday, peaking near 86°F. While daytime sun will feel like summer, nights remain cool—hovering around 59–65°F—making it important to dress in layers.
Looking ahead, the weekend brings more sun with Saturday’s high reaching 82°F. Patchy fog remains a factor each morning through Monday. Sunday and Monday both stay warm, with highs in the low 80s and only light winds.
Reminder: Fog-related delays and reduced visibility are expected to persist through at least Friday morning. Updates will continue if advisories are issued. Stay weather-aware and check traffic maps before heading out.
