Denver and the surrounding areas will see varying weather conditions throughout the week. Scattered afternoon showers are expected in the foothills and mountains on both Wednesday and Thursday, while the plains, including the urban corridor, will remain dry through Friday.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, temperatures on the plains will reach the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday, with cooler conditions in the mountains and valleys, where highs will range from the 50s to 60s.

Friday will bring cooler temperatures, with highs in the 60s for the plains and 40s to 50s in the mountains. Light snow is possible at elevations above 9,000 feet by Friday. Dry conditions will continue across the lower elevations, making for a pleasant end to the workweek.

Be prepared for scattered rain showers in higher elevations and possible light snow in the mountains as cooler air settles in for the weekend.
