According to the National Weather Service Northern Indiana, fog will persist until around 9 a.m. today, especially on major highways in the region. The service recommends drivers be alert for sudden changes in visibility, particularly in low-lying areas. Roads including I-69 and US-30 may experience the worst conditions early this morning.
The dense fog is forecasted to lift by mid-morning, with improved visibility heading into Friday. As the fog clears, expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures rising to the mid-70s tomorrow, continuing a trend of mild fall weather through the weekend.
