Salisbury, Maryland – Delmarva residents can expect warm and mostly dry weather today, but increasing clouds signal a shift toward a wetter, stormier weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Baltimore/Washington, highs across the peninsula will climb into the upper 80s Wednesday, with a slight chance of isolated storms in southern and southeastern areas by late afternoon. Overnight lows will dip into the low to mid-60s.

By Friday, conditions become more unsettled. More clouds than sun are expected, with scattered showers or storms possible, especially late in the day across inland areas of the Lower Shore. Highs will range from the low 70s to mid-80s.

Saturday looks wetter across much of Delmarva. Showers are likely, with a chance for embedded thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Some downpours could be locally heavy, especially inland.

Travelers and beachgoers should monitor forecasts and consider indoor plans, particularly Saturday afternoon when storm coverage may peak.

More detailed alerts or advisories could follow as conditions evolve heading into the weekend.
