Fort Worth, TX – A midweek storm system will bring severe weather and fire threats across North Texas on Wednesday. Isolated thunderstorms may develop along and ahead of a Pacific front and dry line. Some storms could produce large hail and damaging winds.

According to the National Weather Service, storm chances will be highest east of the I-35 corridor by Wednesday afternoon. A capping inversion may limit storm development, but any storms that form could turn severe. Strong winds and hail remain the primary threats.

Behind the front, dry air and gusty winds will increase fire risks, especially west of I-35. Areas like Comanche and Graham face an elevated fire threat due to these conditions. Temperatures will range from the mid-70s to the mid-80s.

Residents should stay alert for weather updates and be prepared for possible severe storms. Keep an eye on forecasts for the latest developments.
