Fort Worth, Texas – Storm-weary Texans should brace for another round of thunderstorms Wednesday through Friday, with repeated waves expected to impact roads, outdoor plans, and power reliability across North and Central Texas.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, isolated strong storms Tuesday will give way to more widespread storm activity midweek. Areas along and east of I-35—including Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco, and Palestine—will see scattered to numerous thunderstorms, especially Thursday. Rain chances remain around 40% through Friday, with small hail and gusty winds possible.

In Sherman and Denison, residents should expect frequent lightning and localized downpours both Wednesday and Thursday. Cities like Killeen and Waco will face highs in the low 80s with storms most likely during afternoon and evening hours. Palestine could see repeated rounds of rain with muggy overnight lows near 66°F.

While severe weather risk is low, outdoor events and travel may face delays. Residents are urged to monitor forecasts, avoid flood-prone roads during heavy rain, and secure loose outdoor items due to gusty conditions.

Storm chances continue through the end of the week, and additional advisories may be issued if stronger systems develop.
