Crown Point, IN: Kitchen Fire Contained with No Injuries Friday

Crown Point, IN – A Crown Point kitchen fire broke out Friday night around 9:15 PM in the 600 block of South Indiana Street. The fire was quickly extinguished, with damage limited to the kitchen.

According to Crown Point Fire Rescue, the preliminary investigation suggests the fire was accidental. No injuries were reported.

Assistance at the scene was provided by Merrillville Fire, Crown Point Police Department, and Crown Point Emergency Management Agency. Tri-Creek EMS and Lake Hills Fire helped cover the city while Crown Point crews managed the blaze.
