According to the National Weather Service, Phoenix will experience daytime highs in the mid-90s through Saturday, with cooler mornings ranging from the 60s to low 70s. Wednesday’s high will hit 96 degrees, rising to 102 degrees by Sunday. Globe, Yuma, and El Centro will see similar patterns, with slightly lower daily temperatures.
Minor heat risks are forecasted through Saturday, but conditions will become more dangerous as temperatures rise over the weekend. The risk level will elevate to moderate across parts of southern California, Arizona, and the surrounding region by Sunday.
