Denver, CO – A winter storm watch has been issued for Colorado’s north-central mountains, where up to 2 feet of snow is possible from late Monday night through Thanksgiving Day.
According to the National Weather Service, areas including Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park, and the Medicine Bow Range could see 12 to 24 inches of snowfall, with winds gusting up to 35 mph. The storm is expected to create dangerous travel conditions, potentially disrupting holiday plans. Lower elevations and the Urban Corridor may also experience snowfall impacts.
Travelers should monitor updates and check road conditions at cotrip.org or by dialing 511.
